Description Chaplet of the Five Wounds This chaplet is dedicated to the Five Wounds of Jesus. Chaplets, like rosaries are prayer beads but chaplets have no set form. This particular chaplet 5 beads – five for each of the five wounds, and 3 beads in the beginning section. HOW TO PRAY THE CHAPLET The nail wound to the left foot The nail wound to the right foot The nail wound to the left hand The nail wound to the right hand The spear wound to the side On each medal The wound is “announced” and the “Hail Mary” is said On each of the following 5 beads The “Glory Be” is said; At the end of the chaplet Three additional Hail Mary’s are said.
