Chadar Mekhela is the cultural and traditional dresses of Assam. In a Chadar Mekela Set there are three nos of pieces. One is Mekhela which used to wear bottom part of the body and its shape is cylindrical . The second part is known as Chadar and it used to wrap on the body. It covers from top to bottom of the body. Poti are comes in extra and it stich on both the border of the Chadar. The third part is called as blouse and it have to stitch as according to the body size. The set is made on traditional handloom with pure Assam Silk which is also know as Mulberry Silk. Very comfortable to wear in festive time. Unique in design.
